Birchwater Investments is led by Doug Flynn, who led the highly-successful Flynn Group of Companies, a privately-held company that started in 1978 and now has 35 offices across North America and 6,000+ employees. During Doug Flynn’s tenure, the company was involved in more than 70 acquisitions.
Doug Flynn’s success stems from the hard work ethic he developed growing up in Canada’s Prairies. The company’s name stems from the white birch tree — the official tree of the province of Saskatchewan. Hardy and quick growing, the birch tree’s root structure consists of numerous small roots, which provides its strength and stability — a perfect metaphor for the company.
